Preseason Daily Wrap: Rockets shine against Sharks

Three games highlighted the NBA Tuesday night, featuring a blowout home win by the Houston Rockets who dominated the visiting Shanghai Sharks.

Rockets hit Sharks

The Houston Rockets held home court and beat the Shanghai Sharks, 128-86. James Harden had 37 points, five rebounds, nine assists and three steals, PJ Tucker added 22 points, three rebounds, three assists and three steals, Gary Clark chipped 16 points and five rebounds, while James Ennis III and Gerald Green combined for 30 points with 15 each.

The Sharks were led by Jimmer Fredette with 41 points, nine rebounds and three assists, Luis Scola had an 18-point, 12-rebound double-double, and Zhang Zhaoxu finished with 10 points and five rebounds.

Thunder strike Bucks

The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Milwaukee Bucks, 119-115, on the back of Paul George’s 26 points and four rebounds, Hamidou Diallo had 19 points, five rebounds and four assists, Deonte Burton contributed 16 points, four rebounds and three steals, while Narlens Noel ended the night with 14 rebounds and seven points.

Christian Wood led the Bucks with a 19-point, 15-rebound double-double, Tyler Zeller had 17 points, seven rebounds and three assists, while Tim Frazier put up 14 points and five assists.

Clippers beat Nuggets

The Los Angeles Clippers beat the Denver Nuggets, 109-103. Danilo Gallinari had 16 points and seven rebounds, Boban Marjanovic had a 14-point, 12-rebound double-double, Montrezl Harrell added 14 points, seven rebounds and four blocks, while Jerome Robinson finished with 12 points and four rebounds.

The Nuggets were led by Trey Lyles with a 15-point, 10-rebound double-double, Monte Morris had 14 points and six assists, Malik Beasley chipped in 12 points, four rebounds and three assists, and Juancho Hernangomez ended the night with an 11-point, 12-rebound double-double.
